Communities can help support the local manufacturing sector in wide variety of ways. This panel will take a deep dive into role that community partners working along with manufacturers can set up a structure that builds success – short and long term. You’ll hear about resources available in your community and how to access them in an intentional way.

Role of Municipalities in Supporting Regional Efforts:

Hear from local leadership new ways they are working with manufacturers proactively, using data-driven methodology and economic incentives to support the manufacturing sector.

Career Pathways


We will be learning new ways local schools are actively working with manufacturers to identify career pathways through apprenticeships What must be included to implement a successful program? We will be discussing the framework to set in place that will work to build your talent pipeline.

Meeting Employees Where They Are – Hiring Individuals with Diverse Backgrounds:

Today’s tight labor market has illuminated opportunities to expand the way we think about employee recruitment and inclusion. This panel will share concrete ideas to foster a welcoming environment, offer employees useful resources and explore effective Second Chance recruiting methods.
