FOCUS ON IMPROVEMENT: What is This Thing Called Theory of Constraints? Webinar

The presentation will give participants a basic understanding of Theory of Constraints and the practical application of the concepts in an organization. We will dispel the myth that Theory of Constraints is just a theory and will outline the practical set of tools and techniques that can be applied to any organization to achieve breakthrough improvement in performance.

Topics will include:

  • Systems thinking
  • The concepts of necessary and sufficient conditions
  • What are leverage points and how to identify the constraint in an organization
  • How to create buy-in to organizational change by creating win-win solutions

Examples of the application of the principles will be discussed along with results that organizations have achieved by implementing the concepts.

Max Krug | Founder – Future State Engineering

Max Krug provides operational excellence services expertise to organizations with the primary objective of achieving breakthrough financial and operational performance.

Max has 38 years of experience in operations, and his range of expertise and experience includes manufacturing operations, distribution, and project management.  He assists organizations in achieving Operational Excellence by utilizing Theory of Constraints, Lean Management, and Total Quality Management principles. He works with companies to develop corporate strategy and provides hands-on implementation support of the actions required to create a high performing organization.

Max holds several certifications in Theory of Constraints, Lean, and Six Sigma in addition to a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Alfred University and an MBA from St. Bonaventure University.
