    Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. I understand that the vocabulary can be confusing. To be honest, I am myself confused by features changing their name with time or words covering changing features with time. This is thus difficult to write (and especially to maintain) a good documentation.

For me a “widget” is what we had in old versions of WP in the screen “Appearance > Widgets”. You can get back this screen with the “Classic widgets” plugin.

The current “Appearance > Widgets” (which is now displayed only for “classic themes” and no more for “block themes”) displays what I know as “Widget blocks”.

How do you suggest to modify the description to avoid confusion?

    Hello @chouby

for someone using a classic theme with widget blocks this is still shown under “Appearance -> Widgets” and therefore claiming you can translate widgets with the free version in the description is wrong. Yes, it is confusing with all those changing things, but for this group of people the case is very clear and they are trying to find something which is not there.

    See:

and I’m sure there are many more …

How do you suggest to modify the description to avoid confusion?

Just explain it in a paragraph, like you explained it here. It will avoid further confusion and support questions. Thank you!

    All the best
    Torsten
