This ought to get the “short_description” value for Meta Box, which has a different API than ACF:

rwmb_get_value( 'short_description', [], $args['id'] ?? null );

If you wish for TSF to parse the “short description” via its description generator — as if it were actual content — then you should use this instead: https://gist.github.com/sybrew/7f55d2bdb063c124381afc6427a1ab7b.

Please note that I haven’t tested the snippets.
