• I copied a block of a plugin and put it in the Action category.

Unfortunately just adding the code is no good.

So I try to use the text tab. Paste the code and save. The change had no effect. The code is short and is a comment.

The copied code is also a comment, but I don’t know which part to change.

  • Hi @ildomandatore!

This definitely sounds frustrating. Based on the information you’ve shared, it sounds like you’re having trouble implementing the WordPress Popular Posts plugin.

The WordPress Popular Posts plugin page has some documentation on installation and use that you might find helpful—including how to use/update short codes—which may be a good place to start. It’s also the best place to ask questions as the plugin’s developers will likely know more specifically how to guide you.

Let me know if this helps.
