• I am trying to change the email address that the contact form on my website sends emails to. In order to do this, I follow a link sent to my proposed changed email and need to be able to log in to my wordpress site from the wp-admin site to confirm the change. Every combination of username I can think of, it says that those usernames don’t exist. I used all the combinations saved in my LastPass account as well. I usually log in to my website from my Bluehost account, so I still have access to my website, but can’t change this vital piece because I can’t log in from this avenue. I am not sure I remember even using this avenue to log in for this particular website domain. Please help!

So log in from Bluehost first!

    1) If you’re ALREADY logged in to the WordPress dashboard (through whatever means), then you should not be asked to log in again when you click on the link in the confirmation email.

    2) When you log into the WordPress dashboard (through whatever means), you should find a link to your user profile in the upper-right corner of your screen. From here you should see the username and email address of your individual WordPress account. You can also see a list of all users (including their usernames and email addresses) from the USERS menu in the left navigation column.

Let’s get you your credentials so your contact form submissions are reaching you.

If you go to your WordPress dashboard from your Bluehost account, there is a Users tab in the top right-hand corner. From there, you can review and/or edit the information you need, including the username. Make sure to save any changes you make and try changing the email address again. Please feel free to reach out to our support team via chat or phone and we would be happy to help!

    Hey @theskindietitian ,

Once login from my Bluehost account then you can see right side “Howdy, User name” in the WordPress dashboard. So hover there you can see the user name above Edit Profile.
